  • A note from James

    Sep 25, 2024
This is a really important last-show/tour’s-end for one of our family. Dave Morgan our undaunted, ardent and deeply committed audio engineer, who has mixed the sound for millions of concert goers in his long professional lifetime, is retiring.

I fully expect to stay connected with him because he has become such a central part of this band and crew and its extended family. But the road doesn’t go on forever and Dave has finally chosen to make time for the other loves of his life: his family and that fabulous, vintage Taylor guitar he holds so dear.

This isn’t goodbye because he’s woven so deep in all our lives, but rather a heartfelt “carry on” as he opens the next chapter in the unique adventure that is his life in music. He has agreed to help assemble a live album from the literally thousands of our concerts he has been quietly recording since the turn of the century (..ok, maybe not always so quietly)…
